Remodelista editor Fan Winston discovered Swedish-born, London-based interior designer Beata Heuman a while back (see: A Rising Star’s Spirited London Home: ‘Every Room Should Sing!’), and we all became obsessed (see Margot’s post A Colorful Small-Space in London). Heuman founded her studio in 2013 after working for renegade, over-the-top London designer Nicky Haslam for nine years (she says he taught her to “not give a jot about what anyone thinks”). Her rise has been swift; she’s designed interiors in Nantucket as well as in London and points beyond. It’s hard to pin down her style; irreverent, wildly colorful and patterned, unexpected.  So when we heard word that she had a new monograph, Every Room Should Sing, from Rizzoli, we took note. Here are a few favorite rooms from her book.
