Ceramic artist Paula Greif opened her studio and shop on Warren Street in Hudson, New York, a couple of years back. The narrow storefront is topped with a 400-square-foot studio apartment, where Greif now makes her home. Renovating the building with the help of her friend Stephen Shadley (Diane Keaton’s interior designer), Greif “did everything at the lowest cost possible.” The impossibly small bathroom, too, is done on a budget, with rustic and handmade accents.
