An iconic East Vancouver landmark just hit the real estate market.
The 120-year-old Vernon Drive Grocery is up for sale by Stilhavn Real Estate Services, and it could be yours for $1,999,999.
The listing notes that, in addition to the historic convenience store, the 53.5 by 66-foot lot also includes a two-story character home that isn’t on the heritage registry.
There are three rental units at 700 Vernon Drive, all of which are currently tenanted. One of the apartments is a two-bedroom, and the other two are one-bedrooms.
“Location is everything,” the listing boasts, noting that the corner property is at the “hub between hip Strathcona and emerging Clark Drive.”
The Union-Adanac Corridor bike path is nearby, and downtown Vancouver is only a five minute drive away. The new St. Paul’s Hospital development isn’t far off either.
“Many opportunities with [this] unique property,” the listing reads.
More information about the heritage property can be found on Stilhavn’s website.
