Dine Out Vancouver 2021 returns for its 19th year this week, and a record number of 350+ restaurants are participating.
Taking place from February 5 to March 7, the popular annual fest typically features tons of eateries, each offering multi-course dinners at great prices.
Dine Out gives locals the opportunity to experience dinners at restaurants in and around Vancouver, from fine dining to family-friendly and everything in between.
As a delicious bonus, many participating restaurants normally offer special lunch and takeout menus as well.
One of the most exciting parts of Dine Out Vancouver 2021 is the pre-festival reveal of all the restaurants that will be participating along with their extra special, limited-time menus.
Here are our picks for can’t-miss Dine Out Vancouver menus to try this year.
This Cambie Street gem has a great lunch and dinner menu available during Dine Out. Patrons can enjoy dishes such as Roti Canai and Laksa “Clam Chowder” for lunch and Char Kway Teow and Nasi Lemak Brinjal for dinner. You can even have a Salted Egg Yolk Lobster during dinner service for an additional $15. Both menus are available to-go also.

Now’s your chance to try Jules if you haven’t ever stopped into this Gastown gem. The classic French bistro is participating in Dine Out for the first time ever, so it’s definitely at the top of our must-try list.

Indulge at CinCin during Dine Out this year with its $49 dinner menu. This spread features a choice of mains like Steelhead Trout, Beef Brasato, and Smoked Sablefish Risotto. Please note this menu is not available from February 12 to 14.

Torafuku’s Dine Out dinner menu has a lot to choose from, and the best part is all mains come with a bowl of kickass rice (winning). This spot’s menu is designed for sharing between two people for $45 per person. You’ll get one set of steam buns, a choice of a vegetable, hot appetizer, and main and then two desserts.

Cafe Medina is doing a lot of firsts lately. The popular brunch spot recently launched dinner service, and now, it’s doing Dine Out for the first time ever. The Richards Street eatery is offering a dine-in and takeout menu featuring eats like tuna with avocado puree, lamb with hummus and pomegranate, and of course, the famous Medina waffles for a dessert option.

AnnaLena’s special Dine Out tasting menu evolves weekly. The $76-$88 spread will feature seven courses of spectacular modern Canadian cuisine from Chef Mike Robbins.

Yaletown’s Tutto is one of the new places in town participating in Dine Out, which means we gotta check out this lunch menu. The $45 spread will feature entrees to choose from such as Margherita Pizza dal Forno, Bucatini alla Bolognese, and Linguine con Vongole.

For over 30 years, Le Crocodile has been a fixture in Vancouver’s fine dining scene and now, this spot is participating in Dine Out for the very first time. Le Crocodile’s $45-$54 dinner menu offers eats like Lobster Bisque and Classic Beef Bourguignon with White Fettuccine to name a few.

Maenam’s got a lunch, dinner, and vegetarian dinner menu up for order during Dine Out. Folks can expect everything from Hot and Sour Soup of Local Sturgeon to Lingcod with 8-Spiced Sauce on these menus. This spot’s lunch menu is available for takeout as well.
