creative studio 9sekunden presents their new short architectural film, this time guiding viewers through the museum of modern literature by david chipperfield architects in marbach am neckar, germany. the project explores the atmosphere of a warm midsummer’s day, where the architecture is both the main protagonist and backdrop for the daily hustle and bustle of the area.

the museum of modern literature is located in marbach, on a rock plateau overlooking the neckar river valley. displaying artefacts from the extensive twentieth-century collection from the archive for german literature, notably the original manuscripts of franz kafka’s ‘the trial’ and alfred döblin’s ‘berlin alexanderplatz’, the new museum also provides panoramic views across the landscape.
