when studio aisslinger was commissioned to reimagine LOQI’s european headquarters in berlin, they created a design around three keywords: colorful, international, and sustainable. breaking with conventional (read: boring) workstations, the team has realized a vibrant office landscape that perfectly reflects the creative DNA of the young brand.

studio aisslinger describes the freshly redesigned workplace as an ‘airy activity office’. the space has been refurbished to afford flexibility and autonomy. employees can choose when and how they want to work thanks to a wide variety of seating arrangements. they can sit at a desk, perch themselves at the bar, or have an informal group meeting around a table. alternatively, if they need some time to think quietly, employees can seclude themselves in one of two individual work capsules.
the 10,764 ft2 (1,000 m2) space with exposed ceiling is divided into co-working areas, break-off units, and the work capsules. studio aisslinger has used recycled and upcycled materials to create striking fabric curtains and transparent folding screens, which moderate the transition between the different working areas. altogether, the vibrant hues and distinct workstations help create a visually interesting office, one which will inspire creativity and bold new ideas.
